Is it the end of an era? Is one of our longest running franchises really going to disappear because of COVID-19? It's what we have all feared once the pandemic struck; will we survive? From small mom-and-pop arcades to large FEC chains, we are all hopingto make it another day, week, month, or year.

Unfortunately, according to the article by USA Today, 34 Chuck E. Cheese locations are closing following their parent company, CEC Entertainment, filing for bankruptcy protection.

There is still hope for our beloved, nationally recognized mascot, but it is in the hands of the courts.
