We've started to notice more and more FEC's using membership programs to entice guests to visit their location more often. This is an intriguing concept and one that appears to have success written all over it...for both the FEC and guest.
What's one of the biggest concerns FECs have? Stagnant times with lack of cash flow. With a membership program, this solves both; you have a steady, reliable monthly income coming in and those 'dead' times are not as dead as they used to be. Alpha Omega recently completed a revamp of Rev'd Up Fun Center in Woodhaven, MI and the one thing we noticed it was busy most nights...and we were there mid-week. Is it summer, yes; however, this had a different vibe. A lot of the guests coming in were members and, the best part for me, they were like family. The employees knew their names, had inside jokes, and just appeared to have a great time with the members.
