Alpha-Omega Sales recently finished a game room setup but ran into a problem; the center was completely cashless and the foosball table would not accept debit cards. After calling around to see if anyone had the knowledge to make the mechanical table run an electronic debit card system, they were simply told "not yet".
The Alpha team was dismayed by this news; however, only in passing, and set forth a fun adventure re-manufacturing a mechanical foosball table. Through many trials and brainstorming, and some help from Global Billiards (thank you!) the team quickly devised a plan and got to work. After installing their "vision", they brought the game to a local FEC (thank you Colonial Bowling and Entertainment) to test their new creation. AND...it worked!
The setup is simple:
Debit card mounted next to the push slide.
Customer will swipe their card, which activates the game.
Customer will have 10 seconds to push the slide in, which will release all the balls and play will begin.
