DISNEY WORLD FACIAL RECOGNITION

Writer's picture: Joseph CamarotaJoseph Camarota

If you are looking for a touchless theme park visit, or just want to feel like you're living in the future, Disney World may be a preferred destination. Disney has announced a beta test of their new facial recognition platform. The test is optional for all guests, those under 18 years old will need consent from a parent or guardian.

The concept is simple: The guest goes through a designated line, a picture is taken, which creates a unique number associated to the guest, and used as the admission "ticket" to the park.
