GENIUS? CHEATER? BOTH?

Writer's picture: Joseph CamarotaJoseph Camarota

FEC operators/owners have dealt with guests trying to cheat the system since the birth of our industry. Who remembers the people that would tie a piece of string on a token to try and steal credits? Or those that would try and reach inside a crane to snag a prize? Well, here's a new one for you, and I must say rather ingenious. A former NASA engineer has taken cheating to an entirely different level...he creates mechanisms that simulate the game function and perfect how to play them. It's pretty incredible to watch, and although some are worried this may take over our industry and open the doors for mass cheating, the amount of effort that goes into making one of these contraptions probably costs more to make then just playing the games. At the very least, keep an eye out for guests coming in with bulging backpacks...
